How to sell an online course

Here is how to sell your course, from a newborn sleep course to a toddler transition program.

You will need:

• A course (see How to create a course using SleepPRO™)
• A sales funnel (see How to create a funnel)
• An order form (see How to create an order form or payment page)

Set up your order form

1. In your sales funnel, open your order form.
2. Under the offer types, select Digital product.
3. Click the + icon next to Digital product to create a new product, and give it a name.
4. Click the + icon to add a resource, select Courses and choose your course.
5. Choose the access type:

• Full access: students get the whole course straight after payment.
• Partial access: students get the modules you choose.
• Drip content: lectures open gradually, based on your delays. For example, a new lecture every 7 days.

Optional: an access date and an expiry

• Grant access on a specific date: turn this on and pick a date. A parent who buys on January 20 with an access date of January 22 gets in on January 22.
• Expiration delay: the number of days the course stays available. With 30 days, the course closes 30 days after the access date, or 30 days after purchase if you set no access date.

Add a price

Click the + icon next to Price plans to add a price. See How to create and configure a price plan. You need a price plan before you can save. Until then, the Save button stays grey.

Add a tag in the resources too, for example Newborn course client. This makes it easy to email your buyers separately from the rest of your list.

Click Save. Your course is ready to sell.

What happens after purchase

Every new student receives an email with instructions to set a password and log in. When they click their course link, they land straight in the course after logging in or creating their account. Someone without access who logs in lands on their regular student dashboard.
