What to do with contacts that have a "Bounced" status

Email deliverability

When an email cannot be delivered, the contact may be marked as Bounced.

1. Find bounced contacts

Bounced contacts have a Stop icon on their profile. You can also filter your contacts with the Contact status filter.

Click the Stop icon to see why the contact bounced, such as an invalid address, a problem with their inbox or a server rejection. This helps you decide what to do.

The more delivery errors you collect, the more your deliverability suffers. Your emails may land in spam, or not arrive at all.

2. What Bounced means

To protect your sender reputation, bounced contacts no longer receive your emails. This keeps problem addresses from hurting your future emails.

3. What to do

A contact who marks your email as spam is moved to Bounced automatically.
