How to send emails with your SendGrid account

You can send your SleepPRO™ emails through your own SendGrid account.

You will need a SendGrid account, a domain, access to your domain's DNS settings, and a SendGrid API key.

What is SendGrid?

SendGrid is an email sending service for marketing and transactional emails, with tools to help your emails land in inboxes instead of spam.

You write and send your newsletters and campaigns in SleepPRO™, and they go out through your SendGrid account.

To connect them, create an API key in SendGrid and add it to your SleepPRO™ settings. An API lets two tools talk to each other. See How to generate a SendGrid API key and add it to SleepPRO™.

Whether you use SendGrid or not, send from an authenticated domain. It is one of the most important steps for good deliverability.

Without SendGrid: you add three CNAME records to your domain's DNS settings. See How to authenticate your domain name for email sending. Then contact support to check the records are correct and your domain is ready.
With SendGrid: authenticate your domain inside your SendGrid account.

SendGrid may block emails to addresses ending in .ir (Iran), .sy (Syria) or .cu (Cuba).
