How to connect your Cloudflare domain to SleepPRO™
Custom domains
Here is how to connect a domain managed at Cloudflare, so your funnels and blog show at your own address.
First add your domain in SleepPRO™, as described in step 1 of How to connect your domain to SleepPRO™. Each domain gets its own CNAME records.
First CNAME record
- In Cloudflare, go to DNS and open the Records tab of your domain.
- Click Add record and choose CNAME.
- Enter www in Name.
- Enter the first value from SleepPRO™, ending in cloudfront.net, in Target.
- Set the proxy status to DNS only (grey cloud).
- Click Save.
A www CNAME record already there? Edit its value instead.
Second CNAME record
- Add another CNAME record.
- In Name, paste the code from SleepPRO™ which comes before your domain, starting with an underscore.
- In Target, enter the second value from SleepPRO™, ending in acm-validations.aws.
- Set the proxy status to DNS only and click Save.
Check your records
Go to dnschecker.org and enter the full name of each record, including your domain. You should see your value with a green tick. If not, review your DNS settings.
Send yoursleepbusiness.com to www
Add one more CNAME record: Name @, Target the same cloudfront.net value as your first record, proxy status DNS only. Click Save.
DNS changes take 24 to 48 hours to spread fully.
If Cloudflare will not save a record because of a conflict, usually with the first CNAME, check whether the existing record is needed or can be removed.
