How to add an order bump to an order form or payment page
Order forms
An order bump is a small tick box on your order form for a little extra, such as a printable bedtime routine chart added to a sleep package. Here is how to add one.
You will need a sales funnel and a payment page.
- Open the payment page and click Add order bump.
- Under Choose offer type, pick Physical product or Digital product.
- For a digital product, choose what the parent gets after paying:
- Courses: access to the course.
- Course bundles: access to a bundle of courses.
- Tags: the tag you choose is added.
- Communities: access to your community.
For a physical product, choose the product.
- Add a single price. See How to create and configure a price plan.
- Open the page editor and drag the Order bump element onto the page.
Calendar events cannot be an order bump. Choosing one shows an error.
SleepPRO™ does not ship physical products. Handle delivery yourself. See How to create and sell a physical product with SleepPRO™.
Send an email to order bump buyers
- Create a tag, for example Order bump. See How to create a tag.
- On the payment page, add this tag as a resource of your order bump.
- Go to Automations, then Rules, and create a rule with the trigger Tag added and your tag. Choose an action, such as Send email or Subscribe to campaign.
See How to trigger automation rules when a customer buys your order bump for the full steps.
PayPal may only show the price of the main product in its payment window. This is normal. Both are charged, as two separate transactions.
