How to add a DMARC record on Infomaniak

Email deliverability

Adding a DMARC record is one of the last steps in authenticating your domain. Here is how to add it at Infomaniak, with the policy set to none. You will find the values in the SleepPRO™ popup with your DNS records.

  1. Log in to Infomaniak and open the DNS zone of your domain.
  2. Click Add a record and choose DMARC as the type.
  3. In Source, enter the name shown in SleepPRO™, usually _dmarc.
  4. In Target, enter your DMARC value, for example v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:reports@yoursleepbusiness.com
  5. Click Save.

Your domain can only have one DMARC record. If an old one exists, delete it and keep only the new one.
Email providers such as Gmail and Yahoo send a daily report to the address after rua=mailto:. Use a separate address on your domain for these, so your main inbox stays calm.
Reports arrive as raw data. See DMARC reports: how to read and use them. Need help reading them? Contact SleepPRO™ support.
Check your record by searching your domain at mxtoolbox.com/dmarc.aspx.

Your DMARC record helps receiving servers recognize your genuine emails, and the reports show you whether all of them pass authentication.

Still stuck? We are here for you.

SleepPRO™ support is available 24/7 and usually replies within 12 hours, often sooner.
