How to view and download customer consent records

When parents tick a consent box on your order form, the proof is saved. Here is how to see and download it, which helps if a payment is ever disputed.
You will need at least one transaction.
- Hover over the Sales tab and click Transactions.
- Click the three dots next to the transaction and choose Customer consent record.
The popup shows exactly what was recorded at purchase:
- Consent method: how consent was given.
- Checkbox text: the exact text the parent saw.
- Email: the parent's email.
- Date and time: when consent was recorded.
- User agent: the browser and device used.
- IP address: the parent's IP address.
- Order form URL: the page where consent was given.
- Checkbox ID: the ID of the checkbox element.
Click Download PDF to save a copy.
No record? This usually means the purchase happened before this feature existed, there was no checkbox on the page, or the checkbox was optional and not ticked.
