How to offer Multibanco payments in SleepPRO™
Payment gateways
Multibanco is a popular way to pay in Portugal. Customers get a payment reference from Stripe and pay it through their banking app, online banking or at an ATM, without entering card details at checkout.
You will need Stripe connected to SleepPRO™.
1. Turn on Multibanco in Stripe
- In Stripe, click Settings, then Payments, then Payment methods.
- Scroll to Multibanco, click Disabled, then Enable.
Currencies and restrictions:
- Buyers: Portugal.
- Subscriptions: yes. Each billing cycle creates a payment voucher due within 10 days.
- Currency: EUR only.
2. Turn on Multibanco in your funnel
- Open your funnel and click Settings.
- Tick Multibanco (Stripe) and click Save.
Multibanco now shows on your order form.
With a payment plan, every installment is paid by hand. Each cycle creates a new reference, valid for 10 days, which the customer pays.
