How to add a test email address to check your emails

Add a test address to preview your newsletters and campaign emails before parents see them. You can add as many test addresses as you like.
Add a test address
- Click your profile picture, then Settings, then Emails.
- Scroll to Verified email addresses, click Click here to confirm your email address and add the address. Any email provider works, including Gmail and Yahoo.
- Open the inbox and click the confirmation link. This proves you own the address and prevents spam.
- Enter the address in the Email address field of the Test section.
You can add up to five new test addresses per week. Past this limit, you can still send tests to your existing addresses.
Send a test
- Newsletter: open it and click Save and test.
- Campaign email: open the email and click Save and test.
You can also change the test address right from the editor. Click Save and test, and enter a confirmed address or add and confirm a new one in the popup.
You cannot send a test to an address used in an automation rule or workflow.
Use a test address different from your sender address, to avoid deliverability problems.
Variables, such as first name, stay empty in test emails. Send a real email to yourself to see them filled in.
